Infield and Outfield Are Lit Differently

The infield carries the highest light levels on the field because the ball moves fastest there and the plays are closest. The outfield runs lower levels but demands consistency, because a fielder judging a fly ball is reading its arc against the sky and any dark lane between poles shows up as a lost ball.
Pole positions follow the diamond: down the lines and behind the outfield, never where a fixture sits in the batter’s eye. This is exactly what a photometric field model resolves before anything is ordered.

What a Field Package Includes

Field lighting is a system purchase: fixtures, crossarms that carry multiple heads per pole, and poles rated for the combined effective projected area under your local wind loading. Our packages arrive matched, so the crossarm fits the pole and the pole carries the load with margin.
Youth and recreational fields use fewer, lower poles than competition fields. Tell us the level of play and we will size the package to it rather than selling stadium hardware to a little league.

Upgrading an HID Field to LED

Many fields still run metal halide banks that take minutes to strike and cost real money every hour they burn. LED heads on existing poles are often possible when the poles are sound and well placed, and the difference in light quality and switching is immediate.
Pole condition and EPA capacity get verified first. Where the original layout fights the diamond, we will say so and model what correct placement looks like.
