Troffers, Panels and Downlights: Who Does What

Troffers and flat panels fill suspended grid ceilings with broad, even light, the backbone of office and institutional space. Downlights punch smaller apertures into drywall and grid alike, carrying corridors, lobbies and accent zones where a full panel would be too much.
Most commercial interiors mix them: panels over the open plan, downlights along circulation and at feature areas.

Color temperature sets the room’s tone, rendering decides how merchandise and skin read, and glare control decides screen comfort.
