Well lights beside patios and walks can shine straight into people’s eyes once the beam is tilted. The CLS IGL20B Titan Mono-Directional well light handles that with an integrated turret shroud that sends light one way and hides the lamp from the viewer, set on a solid cast brass surface ring over a PVC body.
When does a well light need a directional shroud?
Any time people look down at it or across it: beside a patio, at the edge of a walk or near a front entry. Turn the open side of the turret toward the facade or trunk, and the closed side blocks the view of the lamp from the seating area or path.
How easy is a lamp change?
Lamp swaps are designed to be quick and do not need specialized tools. A pressure-fit gasket system keeps moisture out between services, and the fixture carries an IP65 rating.
Mono-directional or multi-directional?
Choose this mono-directional IGL20B to light one surface from one side. The IGL22B multi-directional model uses a three-way shielded cover for fixtures seen from several angles. Both take an MR16 LED lamp up to 8W or a halogen lamp up to 50W.
