Mounting Options
Deck mount fixtures fasten to the countertop of a built in island. Clamp on and stemmed fixtures attach to a freestanding grill or its side shelf. Choose a mount that keeps the fixture clear of the lid as it opens and closes.
Built for the Grill
Look for sealed housings and materials that tolerate heat and are easy to wipe clean. Most BBQ lights run on 12 volt low voltage power and can share a transformer with the rest of the landscape system. A neutral white light shows the true color of the food.
Look for weatherproof fixtures with an adjustable head so the beam covers the whole cooking surface, and put the switch within easy reach of the grill.
