Path lights and small enclosed fixtures that use a G4 bi-pin lamp often get mixed on one property, and matching color across them is easier when the lamp can be set on site. The CLS CLL4 is a 3 watt G4 LED with a built-in toggle that switches between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
Why set color temperature on the lamp instead of ordering separate parts?
One part number covers three looks. You can match warm brass path lights at 2700K, step up to 3000K near a modern facade, or use 4000K near foliage, without stocking three different lamps.
How bright is a 3 watt G4?
CLS rates it at 270 lumens, listed against a 50 watt halogen, with a 360 degree emission that fills a frosted lens or shade evenly. It draws 3.7 VA.
Is it suited to damp fixtures?
The ceramic base and clear polycarbonate cover carry an IP54 rating aimed at condensation inside outdoor fixtures. It runs on 9 to 17 volts AC or DC and dims on most magnetic transformers or by DC voltage.
