Why choose the IFL0220 over the smaller IFL02 models?
The IFL0207 (7 watts) and IFL0212 (12 watts) use the same 5.0 by 2.44 by 7.5 inch body, so the decision comes down to the size of the target and how far the fixture sits from it. Use the IFL0220 where the smaller two would leave the upper part of a tall surface in shadow, and save the lower wattages for closer, smaller features.
What should I check before putting several on one run?
At 20 watts each, these add up quickly, so total the load and leave headroom on the transformer, and check voltage drop on long runs. The fixture tolerates 9 to 17 volts AC or DC, is rated IP65 behind a tempered glass lens, and ships with a 72 inch, 18 gauge SPT-1W lead.
