Some paths need light pointed somewhere other than straight down, such as across a bed, onto a low wall or over a shrub that leans into the walk. The CLS PL25B is a solid cast brass path light with a 90 degree arm and an adjustable head, so the beam can be aimed after the fixture is set.
What does the 90 degree arm let me do that a standard hat cannot?
The arm holds the head out and over the target instead of directly above the stem. That lets you light a walk from the edge of a bed, push light onto a fence or wall, or reach past foliage that would block a centered shade.
How far can I tilt the head?
CLS describes the head as adjustable for directional lighting but does not publish a tilt range, so confirm the angle you need with LED Spot if the layout depends on it.
Clear glass or frosted for this fixture?
The PL25B comes with clear tempered glass, which keeps the beam crisp when you are aiming at a specific surface. It takes a G4 LED (max 4W) or halogen (max 20W) and carries an IP65 rating with a 72 inch lead.
