CLS PL44A Aluminum Ring-Accent Umbrella Path Light – Classic Series (G4)

Patio edges, garden paths and planting beds on budget conscious projects still deserve a fixture with some character. The CLS PL44A is a die-cast aluminum umbrella path light with a decorative ring around the shade, a frosted tempered glass lens and a G4 bi-pin socket in an Antique Bronze finish.

Aluminum or brass for this path?

Die-cast aluminum is lighter than brass and carries a factory Antique Bronze finish, which makes it practical on jobs with many path lights. Brass is the usual pick where salt air or constant irrigation spray reaches the fixture. For most inland beds and patios, aluminum handles the job.

Is the 47 inch lead long enough?

The PL44A comes with a 47 inch lead, shorter than the 72 inch leads on many CLS path lights. Plan the main run so it passes within reach of each fixture, or budget for a short extension at the connection.

What lamp goes in it?

The socket takes a G4 LED (max 4W) or halogen (max 20W). The fixture stands 22.38 inches tall with a 7.13 inch shade and is rated IP65. CLS lists multiple riser options for adjusting the height.
