Where lighting ideas turn into real lighting solutions

LED Double 15 Foot Round Pole Kits

Two LED heads on a 15 foot round steel pole for compact lots, strip centers and tight double-loaded rows.

A 15 foot mounting height keeps light low and close, which is why this double kit suits small commercial lots where the poles sit only a few stalls from storefronts or property lines. Each kit pairs two LED area lights, set back to back at 180 degrees, with a round steel pole, anchor bolts and a base cover, all in bronze. You can order it with 100 watt or 140 watt fixtures. Set the pole in the landscape island or striped median between two facing rows so one head covers each row. If the pole will stand on a raised concrete base, add that height when you work out spacing on our parking lot photometric design request. If a corner of the lot calls for heads at a right angle instead, LED Spot’s fixture EPA by bracket configuration puts a double 90 at 2.3 sq ft and the back to back double 180 at 2.7 sq ft for the Lifestyle Small luminaire.

Does a 15 Foot Double Round Kit Fit a Small Lot?

Short poles trade reach for control. Here is how to decide whether this kit matches your site.

  • Lot size. At 15 feet, each pole covers a modest footprint, so plan on more poles than you would need at 20 or 24 feet. That is usually fine on lots with one or two drive aisles.
  • 100 watt or 140 watt. The 100 watt version suits lots with close pole spacing and nearby windows or homes. Pick 140 watt when poles sit farther apart or the lot serves evening traffic.
  • Round pole look. A round shaft reads softer next to retail and office fronts. If your building has square columns or crisp edges, compare the square version of this kit.
  • When to go taller. If your layout calls for poles closer than you can fit between islands, the 20 foot double round kit spreads each head over a wider area.
  • Wind check at 15 feet. A short pole has to pass the same test as a tall one: its EPA rating at your local wind speed must equal or exceed the fixture EPA for the double 180 bracket.

For a strip center or medical office, LED Spot can model both heights side by side when you request a lighting quote.

Double 15 ft Round Questions

The kit includes two LED area light fixtures, a 15 foot round steel pole, anchor bolts and a base cover. The finish is bronze. Wattage is chosen when you order, either 100 watt or 140 watt.

Place it between two rows of stalls that face each other, typically in a landscape island or along the center stripe. One fixture aims over each row, which lights the stalls and the drive aisle between them.

Not for compact lots. A lower pole puts more light directly beneath it and limits glare onto neighboring property, but each pole covers less ground, so spacing is tighter than with taller kits.

Ask about adding controls such as motion or photocell sensors when you order. A photometric layout from LED Spot will show whether the lower wattage covers your after-hours needs.

The design wind speed comes from where the site is, not from the pole height. What changes with height is the pole’s capacity, so read the 15 foot pole’s EPA at your area’s speed and compare it with the two-head assembly.
