LED Quad 20 Foot Round Pole Kits

Four LED fixtures on one 20 foot round pole to light an open lot in every direction from a single foundation.

A quad kit is the answer when a pole stands in open pavement with parking on all four sides. This one mounts four LED area lights at 90 degree intervals on a 20 foot round steel pole, with 140 watt and 180 watt fixture options. The SKUs list a bronze finish. Centered in a lot, the four heads cover the surrounding stalls and drive lanes, which works well on square or wide lots that have no landscape medians. Keep in mind that four heads add more wind load than a double at the same height. For the full range of configurations, visit our LED parking lot lighting kits page. For reference, the pole selection guide puts a quad 90 Lifestyle Small assembly at 4.1 sq ft, compared with 2.7 sq ft for a double 180, so one quad concentrates more load on one foundation than either pole in a two-double layout.

Is a 20 Foot Quad Round Kit Better Than Two Doubles?

Choosing between one quad and more doubles comes down to lot shape.

  • Open center lots. A quad works where stalls surround the pole. If your rows are separated by medians, doubles in the medians usually fit better.
  • 140 or 180 watt. Four heads at 140 watt already produce a lot of light from one point. Use 180 watt when quads are spaced far apart.
  • Round pole style. Round shafts suit campuses, churches and landscaped retail. A square version of this kit is also available.
  • Wind load. Four fixtures present more surface to the wind than two. The pole and foundation are matched to the kit, but confirm the base for your local wind zone.
  • Lot shape and pole count. Square or wide lots without medians favor one centered quad. Long, narrow lots with islands usually favor doubles, which also keep each pole’s EPA lower.

If the lot is large, the 24 foot quad round kit covers more area per pole.

Quad 20 ft Round Questions

The four LED fixtures mount at 90 degree intervals around the pole, so each head faces a different direction. That gives coverage on all sides of the pole.

In open pavement near the center of a lot, with stalls or drive lanes on all sides. Placed at the edge, half of its light would fall outside the parking area.

The kit comes with 140 watt or 180 watt fixtures on a 20 foot round steel pole.

In the right spot, yes. One quad in the center of an open lot can cover the area of several single head poles, but a photometric layout should confirm the light levels.

Find the pole’s EPA at the wind speed for your area and compare it with the four-head figure for the actual fixtures. If the pole number is equal or higher, the pairing works. If not, a heavier pole or fewer heads is the fix.
