Where lighting ideas turn into real lighting solutions

LED Single 30 Foot Square Pole Kits

Our tallest single-head kit, built to reach far into large lots from the perimeter.

When a lot is wide and the poles have to stay on the edges, height is the tool. The LED Single 30 Foot Square Pole Kit mounts one fixture, at 240 or 300 watts, on a 30 foot square steel pole. Bronze and white finishes are listed, and a galvanized pole is available for saltwater sites near the coast. Product data gives the pole a 110 mph wind rating. Use it along the perimeter of big retail, industrial and event lots, facing inward. If you are weighing it against a lower kit plus interior poles, our guide to commercial parking lot lighting covers the trade-offs. Tip: taller poles are seen from farther away, so check local height limits early. Hurricane-ready setups rely on steel or fiberglass poles set in concrete footings with high-strength brackets, and the galvanized option here addresses the corrosion salt air brings. Our guide to wind ratings in hurricane areas covers why LED Spot suggests ratings up to 150 mph where hurricanes reach.

Do you need 30 feet, or will a shorter single do the job?

A 30 foot pole earns its height on wide lots. On smaller ones it can waste light and add cost in foundations.

  • 240 or 300 watts. 240 watts fits most perimeter runs at this height. 300 watts helps when the pole must reach the far side of a wide drive aisle.
  • Reach versus intensity. The mounting height spreads light over a large area, but the level directly below the pole is lower than a shorter pole of the same wattage would give.
  • Coastal sites. Specify the galvanized pole where salt air is a concern.
  • Height rules. Some cities cap pole height. If yours does, the 25 foot square single offers up to 300 watts on a shorter pole.
  • Wind check at 30 feet. A single arm assembly is the smallest load on LED Spot’s EPA chart after a post top, but a pole’s allowable EPA shrinks as the design wind speed rises, so check it at your site’s speed.

Single 30 ft Square Questions

Bronze and white are listed for this kit. A galvanized pole is available for saltwater locations.

Not exactly. The taller pole spreads light over a wider area, but the pattern and light levels differ. A photometric layout compares the options on your site.

The product data lists 110 mph. Confirm it against the wind speed your local code requires before ordering.

Use a quad when the pole stands in the open interior of the lot with pavement on all sides. Singles belong on the perimeter where one direction of light is enough.

Galvanizing coats the steel in zinc, which slows the rust that salt air causes. That protects the shaft and base connection on a tall pole that has to keep its strength through storm seasons.
