The CLS RL01B is a die-cast brass pendant that holds an MR16 lamp inside a perforated shade, measuring 7.1 inches tall by 2.3 inches wide in an Antique Bronze finish.
What does the perforated shade do to the light?
The holes let a soft scatter of light out the sides while the main beam drops downward. You get a decorative glow on the fixture itself plus useful light below it.
How is the pendant hung?
CLS includes a 40 inch brass hanging chain, and the 72 inch pre-stripped 18 gauge SPT-1W lead wire can follow the chain back to the junction point.
Which MR16 lamp should go in a pendant?
The socket is a GU5.3 with retaining clips and a spring to hold the lamp in place when the fixture swings. It accepts an MR16 LED up to 9 watts or a halogen up to 50 watts, sold separately. A wide beam lamp spreads over a dining table, while a narrower one puts a defined pool on a walkway below. The fixture runs on 9 to 17 volts AC or DC and is IP65 rated.
