Residential deck stairs and garden steps need just enough light to see each edge. The CLS IDL01B is a compact solid cast brass integrated LED step light measuring 5.9 by 2.87 inches with a 0.87 inch depth. It produces 240 lumens at 2 watts and 2700K, finished in Antique Bronze.
What do the angled slats do?
Custom angled slats send the light down onto the tread and ground while blocking upward glare. That keeps stairs well marked without shining into the eyes of people coming down.
Is 2 watts enough for a stair?
For residential steps, side paths and deck risers, 240 lumens is plenty to define each step. For wider commercial stairs, compare the 5 watt IDL03B.
How is it sealed?
High temperature silicone gaskets keep moisture and debris out of the optics, and the fixture is IP65 rated with a clear tempered glass lens. It runs on 12VAC with a rear wire exit and a 72 inch lead.
