CLS A04P PAR36 Louver

$3.81

Hex louver for PAR36 lamps that controls glare from well lights and flood lights aimed near walks, patios and windows.

SKU LS-A04P Category

A PAR36 lamp in a well light or flood throws a lot of light, and from the wrong angle that becomes glare for anyone walking past. The CLS A04P is a hex cell louver sized for PAR36 light sources, made of die-cast aluminum in matte black.

Do PAR36 well lights need a louver more than MR16 fixtures?

Often, yes. PAR36 lamps run at higher output and sit in fixtures people walk right over, so stray light at steep angles is more noticeable. A louver tightens the beam and cuts that side spill.

Which fixtures does it fit?

The A04P is made for PAR36 light sources, including PAR36 well lights and flood fixtures. For MR16 fixtures, use the A04M instead.

Will it affect the look of the fixture?

The matte black aluminum cells sit in front of the lamp and keep reflections down, so the fixture reads darker from the side while the lit target stays bright.
