When is a silicone potted G4 better than a covered capsule?
In fixtures that see a lot of condensation, irrigation overspray or temperature swings. Full silicone encapsulation leaves no air gap around the LED for moisture to settle in, and the silicone also helps draw heat away from the diodes. The lamp is rated IP54.
Warm 2700K or 3000K for this property?
