CLS TLL16CT5 Selectable CCT MR16 Bulb 5W

On a night aiming visit, the color temperature that looked right on paper does not always look right on the stone. The CLS TLL16CT5 is a 5W MR16 LED with a sealed push button that steps through 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K and 6000K, so you can make that call at the fixture instead of hauling a box of lamps.

How does the color temperature switch work?

A sealed, tactile button on the lamp cycles through the color temperatures. Set it while the fixture is open, then close it up.

What beam spread does the TLL16CT5 come with?

It comes in 15, 30, 45 or 60 degree beams, chosen when ordering. The 45 degree beam is a good general purpose spread for trees and walls.

Will it replace a 35W halogen MR16?

CLS rates it as a 35W halogen equivalent, at 258 lumens and 7.6VA. It uses a standard GU5.3 bi-pin base, runs on 9 to 17V AC or DC, and dims with most magnetic (MLV) transformers or DC voltage dimming. The finned die-cast aluminum body manages heat, the IP54 rating suits enclosed or semi-enclosed fixtures, and rated L70 is 50,000 hours.
