Mulch shifts, beds settle, and a string trimmer will find any fixture that is not anchored well. The CLS A01B is a solid cast brass ground stake built to hold a landscape fixture upright in soil or mulch. It stands 10 inches tall with a 2 inch diameter and comes in a Natural Brass finish.
Will it fit the fixtures already on the job?
The top takes a standard half inch thread, the connection most low voltage path lights, spotlights and accent fixtures use. If the fixture has a half inch threaded base or knuckle, it threads straight onto this stake with no adapter.
Why put a brass stake under a brass fixture?
Cast brass resists corrosion in wet ground and does not turn brittle in sunlight the way some composite stakes can, so the threads stay usable when a fixture is moved or replaced later. The reinforced spike is shaped to drive into firm soil without folding over.
Matching metal also keeps the look consistent from the fixture down to grade on brass lighting runs.
