Tall perennials and mature shrubs can swallow a path light or accent fixture mounted near grade. The CLS A0518 is an 18 inch brass riser that raises the fixture clear of that growth. It measures 18 inches tall by 1 inch in diameter in Antique Bronze.
When do you need the full 18 inches?
Reach for the tallest riser where plants top out well above knee height, such as tall grasses, dense shrub borders or a spotlight that must clear a hedge to reach a tree trunk. For mid height beds the 12 inch A0512 is usually enough.
Will a taller riser stay steady?
Taller risers carry more leverage, so pair it with a solid stake in firm soil. The brass body and Antique Bronze finish match the other CLS brass mounting parts in the line.
