The Sebco standard magnetic transformer is the workhorse of low voltage landscape lighting: a NEMA 3R powder coated steel enclosure rated for indoor or outdoor mounting, in capacities from 100 to 1200 watts. All of the standard units are now on one page.
How do I choose?
Total the connected lamp wattage and leave about 20 percent headroom, then pick the next capacity up. Choose 12 or 24 volt secondary to match the fixtures, and hardwired or a 3 foot line cord for plugging into an outdoor receptacle. Each selection shows its Sebco part number, specifications and price. Use the low voltage wire calculator to set the tap and conductor size.
