The galvanized version of our square steel tapered poles, for sites where corrosion resistance matters more than color. Hot dip galvanizing protects the pole inside and out with no repaint cycle. Heights run 20 to 39 feet with base shafts from 5.25 to just over 7 inches in 11 gauge and 7 gauge wall, anchor base with template and hardware included.
Tall poles on open coastal sites take the most wind, and the wind rating covers the whole assembly: pole, bracket, fixture and anything else mounted on it. Swap a fixture or add a bracket arm and the rating has to be checked again. For hurricane-exposed properties, LED Spot recommends sizing for wind speeds up to 150 mph; our article on hurricane wind ratings for light poles explains why.
Specify galvanized anchor bolts to match, and plan periodic checks of the concrete foundation for cracks or lost aggregate, since a sound base is what keeps a tall pole anchored through a storm.
