What does a downlight sconce do to stone or wood?
Aimed down, the 100 degree beam grazes the wall below it and brings out the texture of stone, brick and wood siding. It produces a defined pool of light at the base rather than lighting the whole wall evenly.
Will it survive sprinkler spray?
It is IP65 rated and sealed against dust and moisture, built for rain and irrigation spray. The heavy gauge brass body also helps carry heat away from the LED.
What voltage range does it accept?
It runs on 9 to 17V AC or DC, so fixtures farther from the transformer still perform. The lens is clear tempered glass and it comes with a 72 inch, 18 gauge lead.
