CLS A0512 12″ Brass Riser

$37.71

Raise a half inch threaded path light or spotlight 12 inches above groundcover with this solid cast brass riser in Antique Bronze.

SKU LS-A0512 Category

Shrubs and groundcover grow, and a fixture set at grade can disappear into foliage within a season or two. The CLS A0512 is a 12 inch solid cast brass riser that lifts a fixture back above the planting. It measures 12 inches tall by 1 inch in diameter, finished in Antique Bronze.

How tall should the riser be for this bed?

Twelve inches is a middle height, a good fit for medium shrubs, hosta beds and ornamental grasses that would otherwise block a spotlight. For low groundcover the 3 inch A053 is enough, and for taller plantings the 18 inch A0518 gives more clearance.

Does it fit standard fixtures?

Yes. It uses the standard half inch thread found on most landscape fixtures, so it threads between a stake and the fixture. Solid brass is weather and corrosion resistant, so the threads hold up when the fixture is later moved.
