Square poles give a crisp, architectural profile, and at 15 feet they stay in scale with single-story buildings. This single kit mounts one LED fixture, at either 140 or 180 watts, on a 15 foot straight square steel pole in bronze, and it ships with anchor bolts and a base cover. It suits small lots, tennis or pickleball courts, and the edge of a lot where one head facing inward is all you need. If you want the light to drop after closing, look at our lighting sensors for the fixture. Tip: on a low pole, glare from the head is closer to eye level, so aim the fixture toward the pavement and away from the street. The wind check on a single kit is short: confirm the 15 foot pole’s EPA at your area’s wind speed is at least the single arm figure for the fixture, which LED Spot’s pole selection guide lists at 1.6 sq ft for its Lifestyle Small luminaire.

Should you choose 140 or 180 watts on a 15 foot square pole?
The pole height is fixed at 15 feet, so wattage and spacing do the heavy lifting.
- 140 watts. A good fit for walkways, courts and lots with poles set close together, where extra output would only add glare.
- 180 watts. Better when poles are spaced farther apart or the lot needs higher light levels for security.
- Match the look. If the building or nearby site furniture has square lines, the square pole ties in. Rounded architecture may call for the 15 foot round kit.
- Outgrowing 15 feet. When the layout calls for many short poles, a 20 foot square single can cover the same area with fewer foundations.
- Even coverage. The aim of pole spacing is light without hot spots or dark patches between poles, since both make it harder for drivers and people on foot to see. Low poles need closer spacing to get there.
Send a site plan with your target light levels and we will prepare a layout on request.
Single 15 ft Square Questions
You get one LED fixture, the 15 foot straight square steel pole, anchor bolts and a base cover. The finish is bronze.
Small courts and recreational areas are a common use. For competitive play or larger courts, a photometric layout will show whether 15 foot poles reach the light levels you need.
It is mostly about appearance. Square poles match boxy, modern buildings, while round poles suit softer designs. Both carry one fixture at this height.
Spacing depends on wattage, the fixture’s distribution and your target foot-candles. Short poles generally need tighter spacing than 20 or 25 foot poles, and a layout will give you exact distances.
Yes. Any outdoor pole carries wind load. A single arm head keeps the EPA small, but the pole still needs a rating at your local design speed that covers it.
