Unlit commercial Christmas trees ship without lights, so your team decides where every strand, ornament and ribbon goes. They cost less than pre-lit models and make sense for properties that already own LED strings or want a custom look each year. LED Spot stocks unlit trees from 6 ft to 40 ft: Grand Teton frame trees for plazas and atriums, Oregon Fir Frame trees from 12 to 20 ft, slim Norwood Pine trees for offices and storefronts, plus Deluxe Fraser, Eagle Fraser, Colorado Blue Spruce and a flocked Kiana at 12 or 14 ft. Plan the lights along with the tree, and check the Christmas tree size guide so the height clears your ceiling.

How Do You Choose an Unlit Commercial Tree?
With an unlit tree you are choosing the canvas, so shape and needle color matter as much as height.
- Height and clearance. Start with ceiling height, take off the stand and topper, and keep 6 to 12 inches clear at the tip, more under a tall ceiling. Unlit heights stocked: 6, 7.5, 9 and 10 ft in Norwood Pine, 12 and 14 ft in several species, and 16 through 40 ft in 2 ft steps. Looking for a 20 ft Christmas tree? Both the Grand Teton and the Oregon Fir Frame come in that size.
- Shape. Norwood Pine is the narrowest, about 77 inches wide at 10 ft. The 14 ft Eagle Fraser spreads past 8 ft, and Grand Teton trees are the widest at every height.
- Needle color. Colorado Blue Spruce has a blue-green tint, Deluxe Fraser a muted green, Oregon Fir a deep green, and the Flocked Kiana frosted white branches.
- Light plan. Order strings at the same time as the tree. The hinged metal branches on the Deluxe Fraser and Colorado Blue Spruce hold strands and ornaments securely.
Browse commercial Christmas lights to match bulb style and wire color to the tree you pick.
Unlit Trees Questions
Buying for the season usually starts in early spring. Trees under 40 ft typically ship within about 30 days, and oversized boxes may need freight that adds time. Plan to have your tree in hand by July 1, and leave extra time to source the lights.
At 14 ft you can choose Oregon Fir Frame, Deluxe Fraser, Eagle Fraser, Colorado Blue Spruce or the Flocked Kiana. A 14 ft Grand Teton is also stocked. Each has a different width and needle color, so compare them against your floor space.
Unlit trees cost less up front and give you full control of light placement, color and density. They suit teams that reuse lights from year to year or change themes. You also avoid replacing a whole tree because of a lighting problem.
The Norwood Pine is built slim, from about 44 inches wide at 6 ft to about 77 inches at 10 ft. For a taller narrow option, the 12 ft Oregon Fir Frame is about 78 inches across.
