When does a PAR36 flood make sense?
Choose PAR36 when the target is large or far from the fixture. The larger lamp throws more light than smaller formats, which helps with tall canopies, flagpoles and wide building faces.
How much lamp wattage can it take?
CLS rates the standard PAR36 socket for an LED lamp up to 17 watts or a halogen up to 100 watts. There is no lens; the PAR36 lamp face closes the front. A 100 watt halogen uses a large share of a transformer, so total the lamps carefully and leave headroom.
Will it hold its aim?
The adjustable head rides on a durable pivot for stable, accurate aiming. It is IP65 rated with a 72 inch, 18 gauge lead.
