Contemporary landscapes with clean lines and modern architecture can look cluttered with traditional hat style path lights. The CLS IPL02 (part IPL02A) is a slim L-Beam path light in die-cast aluminum with an integrated LED that lights the path below while keeping the source shielded from view.
How should I set the wattage on a modern path light?
Output is selectable at 1W (80 lumens), 2W (160 lumens) or 3W (240 lumens) on site, without changing the fixture. Use 1W where fixtures are close together or the path is narrow, and step up to 2W or 3W for wider walks, darker paving or wider spacing.
Will the L-Beam profile stand up to irrigation spray?
The sealing is designed to repel rain, dust and irrigation spray, and the fixture is IP65 rated. The thickened die-cast aluminum body carries a powder coat in an Antique Bronze finish for corrosion and UV resistance.
Can the LED be replaced later?
CLS lists the LED module as replaceable. It runs at 2700K and CRI 85 on 9 to 17V AC or DC, behind a clear PC lens.
