Integrated LED or a drop in lamp for a long walkway?

How does the mushroom hat control glare?

The wide hat sits over the light source and spreads a broad pool downward while hiding the LED from people walking by. That keeps the walk lit without the bright dots that bare lamps leave in your eyes.

Will it hold up in exposed beds?

The body is solid cast brass in an Antique Bronze finish with an IP65 rating, and CLS includes a reinforced ground stake to keep the fixture upright. Brass has no paint to chip, so it weathers in place. It runs on 12 volts AC with a 72 inch lead.
