CLS A057 7″ Brass Riser

When should I add a riser instead of moving the fixture?

When the fixture is in the right place but the plants around it have grown taller. Raising it keeps your original layout and aiming intact, which is usually easier than pulling the stake and rerouting the lead to a new spot.

Will this riser fit the fixtures I already have?

CLS lists it as compatible with most of its stake mount path lights and up lights. If you are mixing in fixtures from another brand, confirm the thread size before ordering.

Why a brass riser rather than a plain extension?

Solid brass is the same material as the brass fixtures it supports, and the Antique Bronze finish matches them, so the riser reads as part of the fixture rather than an add-on. At 7 inches tall and about 1 inch in diameter, it adds height without adding bulk in the bed.
