Where does a gutter mount make the most sense?
Anywhere you want light coming down instead of up: entry walks, porches, driveways and garden beds below the roofline. Downlighting from the gutter keeps fixtures out of the beds and away from mowers.
Why 316 stainless for a gutter?
Gutters stay wet and hold leaves and debris, so a mount there sees steady moisture. Type 316 stainless steel is a corrosion resistant grade suited to that kind of exposure.
How visible will it be from the street?
CLS lists it at 0.89 inches tall and 3.39 inches wide, a small profile, and the antique bronze finish keeps it from standing out against dark gutters and trim. Any 1/2 inch threaded spotlight or downlight can attach to it.
