Specifying one up light for a whole property is hard when the oak at the entry needs far more output than the boxwood beside it. The CLS E01M Edge Series lets the installer choose the wattage and the color temperature at the fixture, so a single part number covers trees, walls and architectural details. The housing is die-cast brass with a clear tempered glass lens.
Which wattage setting suits a mature tree versus a low shrub?
Hidden toggles switch the E01M between 5, 10, 15 and 20 watts, with output reaching 1200 lumens. The lower settings fit low plantings, signage and close wall grazing. The upper settings give the reach needed for tall canopies and two story facades.
Can the color temperature match the rest of the property?
A second toggle selects 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or 6000K. Warm settings flatter brick, stucco and foliage near living areas, while the cooler options suit modern architecture and blue green plantings. Beam angles of 24, 36 or 60 degrees cover everything from a narrow trunk accent to a broad wall wash.
Is a brass housing worth it on an up light?
In a bed that gets irrigated every night and brushed by mowers and trimmers, brass holds up where lighter housings corrode or crack. The E01M is sealed and gasketed to IP65 and accepts 12 to 17 volts AC or DC, which gives it tolerance for voltage drop at the far end of a run.
