Which connector size do I need for 10 or 12 gauge main lines?
The large A06L covers 6 to 22 AWG, so it handles heavy home run cable joined to 18 gauge fixture leads. CLS also offers small and medium sizes for lighter connections.
Why grease filled instead of a dry wire nut?
The silicone grease fills the space around the conductors and keeps moisture, dirt and corrosion off the copper. In a buried or wet splice, that keeps the connection stable over time.
How big is it?
Each connector measures 1.05 inches in diameter by 1.61 inches tall, with a flame retardant plastic body. It works with standard low voltage landscape lighting cable.
