Square straight bull horns are built from square steel tubing, so the crossarm lines up visually with square poles and box-style area lights. They mount with a tenon arm connector onto the tenon at the pole top. LED Spot stocks 2 in-line, 3 in-line, 3 at 120 degrees, 4 in-line and 4 at 90 degrees. The 2 and 3 in-line models can be ordered galvanized or not, and the 3 at 120 degree model is galvanized. Paint runs black, bronze, US green and white, with custom on several models and yellow on the 3 in-line. If your site sees coastal salt air, start with the galvanized versions. Match them to square tapered steel light poles.

How Do You Choose Square Straight Bull Horns?
Shape, layout and corrosion protection are the three calls to make.
- Match the pole profile. Square tubing reads cleaner on square poles. On a round pole, the round straight version usually looks more at home.
- Pick the layout from the plan. In-line models line fixtures up on one bar. The 3 at 120 and 4 at 90 models spread them around the pole for open lots and aisle crossings.
- Galvanized or painted only. Galvanizing protects the steel under the paint if it gets chipped, which matters in humid, salty air. Painted-only frames are fine inland if chips get touched up.
- Add up the EPA. Each extra head adds wind load, so check the pole rating against the whole cluster. LED Spot’s fixture EPA chart reads 2.7 for a double 180 (the 2 in-line layout), 3.4 for triple 120 and 4.1 for quad 90 with Lifestyle Small heads, and 3.1, 4.0 and 4.9 with Lifestyle Medium heads. See our pole selection guide for the full chart.
A square pole without a tenon needs a square pole tenon adaptor under the bull horn.
Square Straight Bull Horns Questions
The 2 in-line and 3 in-line models offer a galvanized yes or no choice, and the 3 at 120 degree model (LS-TV3-GALV) is galvanized. The 4 in-line and 4 at 90 degree models list paint colors only.
Custom color is listed on the 2 in-line, 3 in-line and 3 at 120 degree models, and the 3 in-line also lists yellow. Standard colors include black, bronze, US green and white, depending on the model.
Yes, as long as the pole has a tenon on top, because the bull horn mounts to the tenon and not to the shaft. Most buyers pick the square tube for square poles to keep the look consistent.
Two, three or four, depending on the model. Choose 2, 3 or 4 in-line for a straight bar, or 3 at 120 degrees or 4 at 90 degrees to spread fixtures around the pole.
Pick the fixture and the bull horn layout, read the fixture EPA for that layout, choose the pole height, then look up the pole EPA at your site wind speed. The pole EPA has to be equal to or more than the fixture EPA. The chart has no 3 in-line or 4 in-line entries, so send us the fixture for those frames. How to choose the right parking lot pole covers height and material too.
