C7 light strings are socket strings built for bulbs with an E12 candelabra base, so you pick the bulb color and finish separately. Commercial sites run them along storefront windows, porch rails, canopy edges and the branches of mid-size trees, where the smaller C7 bulb looks clean at close range. LED Spot stocks C7 strings in 25, 50 and 100 ft lengths with green wire that disappears into garland and evergreens. The strings come with a factory plug, and bulbs are sold separately. Before ordering, count the sockets on each string and order LED C7 bulbs in packs of 25 to match, plus a few spares for every run.

Which C7 light string length fits your display?
Measure each run first, then match the string to the surface and the bulb you plan to use.
- 25 ft strings. Good for single windows, door frames, short railings and small trees, where a longer string would leave slack to hide.
- 50 ft strings. A middle length for storefront fascia, entry canopies and planter rows, with fewer connections than chaining short strings together.
- 100 ft strings. Covers long walkways and fence lines in one piece. The 25 ft and 100 ft stringers can be custom cut, then capped with snap-on male and female plugs that are sold separately.
- Load per run. These stringers carry a 1200W maximum run rating, and LED C7 bulbs draw only a small share of that, so linked runs stay well inside the limit.
Going past a few hundred feet? A 1000 ft C7 string reel cuts down on connections for rooflines and large trees.
C7 Strings Questions
No. The strings are sold socket only, so you can choose warm white, pure white or colored LED C7 bulbs in transparent, ceramic or faceted finishes. Bulbs come in packs of 25, and keeping a few extra on hand makes replacements quick during the season.
C7 strings take bulbs with an E12 candelabra base. That base is smaller than the E17 intermediate base on C9 bulbs, so the two sizes cannot share the same string.
Yes. The 25 ft and 100 ft stringers are made to be cut to the length you need. Power each cut section with snap-on male and female plugs, which are sold separately.
C7 bulbs are smaller and suit windows, railings, wreaths and trees that people see up close. C9 bulbs are larger and hold their shape on rooflines and tall facades seen from the street. Many properties use C9 on the roof and C7 at eye level.
