This SMD LED parking lot light is the configurable option in our area light lineup. Instead of a separate page for every combination, you choose the wattage, mount and optic on one fixture. Wattage options run from 100W to 300W, with 400W also listed. Mounting comes as a universal straight arm, a slip fitter or a trunnion, and optics come in Type III, Type IV or Type V medium. The slip fitter needs a 2-3/8 inch tenon and lets you tilt the head. If your pole top is square or a different size, add one of our square pole tenon adaptors to the order so the fixture fits on arrival.

How do you configure the SMD LED parking lot light for your site?
Three choices define this fixture. Make them in this order.
- Optic first. Type III for perimeter poles lighting into the lot, Type IV for edges and building mounts, and Type V medium for poles in the middle of an open area that should light in every direction.
- Mount second. Straight arm for side-of-pole mounting, slip fitter for a top tenon, and trunnion for a yoke that can also go on a wall or ground.
- Wattage last. Size it to pole height and spacing. Lower wattage on short poles, higher on tall poles with wider spacing.
A note on tilt. The slip fitter and trunnion both let you angle the head. Aiming it upward to stretch coverage pushes light toward the horizon, which adds glare for drivers and spill onto the next property. Keep it level and solve reach with optic or spacing instead; our article on how to avoid light pollution with LED lighting explains why aim matters.
Finishes beyond the standard color are available on request at an added charge. Send your lot dimensions through our request a quote page if you want help settling all three.
SMD Parking Lot Light Questions
The listing offers 100W, 150W, 240W and 300W, and the product options also show 400W. Tell us your pole height and spacing and we will confirm which wattage fits. Lower wattage on short poles avoids glare.
You can order it with a universal straight arm, a slip fitter or a trunnion mount. The slip fitter fits a 2-3/8 inch tenon and lets you adjust the tilt. Choose the mount that matches your existing poles to avoid extra hardware.
Type III spreads light into the lot from a perimeter pole. Type IV throws forward for edges and building walls. Type V medium lights evenly in all directions from a pole in the center of an open area.
Other colors are available on request, and extra charges apply. Ask when you request a quote so the finish is confirmed before the order is placed.
Often, yes. Pick the mount that fits the pole top or arm, add a tenon adaptor if needed, and confirm the head’s EPA against the pole rating. LED heads skip the heavy ballast and reflector of metal halide, so they usually load the pole less. Our LED parking lot lights article covers what changes in the swap.
LED drivers pair well with photocells, timers and occupancy sensors, which can switch lights off or dim them when the lot is empty. Tell us which control you plan to use when you request a quote so we can confirm it works with the configuration you pick.
