Where lighting ideas turn into real lighting solutions

Landscape Bullet Lights

Directional bullet and spot fixtures in aluminum, brass and copper, for uplighting trees, facades and features.

The bullet light is the workhorse of landscape lighting: a compact directional fixture you aim at one thing, a tree trunk, a facade, a flag, a specimen plant, so the thing is lit and the fixture disappears. Our bullet range runs from economical cast aluminum to brass and copper bodies that patina instead of corroding, in low voltage and 120 volt versions.

About Our Bullet Lights

Landscape bullet lighting enhances gardens, highlights elaborate facades, and adds security lighting to homes and businesses. LED Spot’s bullet lights come in high and low voltage as well as a variety of wattages for any lighting application.

Aiming Light at One Thing at a Time

Bullet fixtures do their work one beam at a time. A narrow spot picks a palm trunk or a column out of the dark. A wider flood washes a section of wall or canopy. Most landscapes mix both, narrow beams for vertical features and floods for mass plantings.
The shielded snout keeps the source hidden from most viewing angles, which is why a well aimed bullet layout shows you a lit tree, not a row of glaring fixtures.

Aluminum, Brass or Copper Bodies

Cast aluminum bullets are the value choice and serve well away from salt and constant irrigation spray. Brass and copper cost more upfront and then stop costing anything: they do not rust, they shrug off fertilizer and spray, and they age to a patina that hides in planting beds.
Fixtures that live in mulch and irrigation zones earn brass. Fixtures high and dry on structures can stay aluminum. Mixing the two by exposure is how experienced installers spec a bed.

Low Voltage or Line Voltage Bullets

Low voltage bullets run on 12 volts from a transformer, are safe to work around plantings, and let you rearrange fixtures as the landscape grows. 120 volt bullets skip the transformer and suit long runs and commercial settings where line voltage circuits already exist.
Voltage drop is the design constraint on low voltage runs. Our free low voltage wire calculator sizes the wire before you trench it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Aiming light at a specific target: tree trunks, facades, columns, flags and specimen plants. It is the primary uplighting fixture in most landscape designs.

Brass and copper survive irrigation spray, fertilizer and soil contact far longer. Aluminum serves well in drier, elevated positions. Match the body to the exposure.

Narrow spots for tall, thin targets like trunks and columns. Wider floods for walls and mass plantings. Most designs mix both.

Low voltage suits planted beds and flexible designs fed by a transformer. Line voltage suits long commercial runs. We stock both.

Use our free low voltage wire calculator to check voltage drop before trenching, or send us the run layout and we will size it.
